SYDNEY MAZDA DONATES TO RADIO DAY IN SUPPORT OF THE CBRH!

Sydney Mazda’s Owner, Mike Perry (left), is once again proud to donate to Radio Day, in support of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation.

In partnership with Hot 101.9 and New Country 103.5, Radio Day 2021 took place on October 7, in support of cancer care here in Cape Breton

This year, they were asking for support once again, to raise funds to purchase a new Echocardiogram Machine for the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. An echocardiogram, or echo, is an ultrasound that checks the structure and function of the heart and its valves. Because cancer treatments like chemotherapy and radiation therapy can cause heart complications, echocardiograms are needed to help doctors determine what treatment plans a patient’s heart can handle.

Because of the generosity of our community, $678,959 was raised for healthcare in Cape Breton, and, a new echocardiogram machine has been fully funded for the Cape Breton Regional Hospital!
